Hearing Evaluations

We take the time to fully understand your hearing needs. Evaluations include a review of your history, ear inspection, and complete hearing test. Results are explained clearly, and we answer every question along the way.

Prescription Hearing Aids

We proudly work with the industry’s leading brands—Oticon, Signia, and Phonak. Prescription hearing aids are customized to your specific hearing loss and offer a wide range of technology options for exceptional results.

Hearing Aid Fittings & Adjustments

Fittings are performed using best-practice methods for optimal hearing performance. You’ll receive follow-ups every two weeks during your 60-day trial and ongoing maintenance every 3–6 months.

In-Office Hearing Aid Demonstrations

Try hearing aids before committing. We program demo devices to your exact hearing loss so you can experience the difference firsthand.

Bluetooth & Rechargeable Technology

Most modern devices offer Bluetooth connectivity and rechargeable batteries. We confirm compatibility with your phone and guide you on daily use.

Long-Term Hearing Care

Annual hearing tests, reprogramming when needed, device troubleshooting, and ongoing support—all part of our commitment to your lifelong hearing health.

Lisa McCully, B.S., H.I.S. – Hearing Instrument Specialist

Lisa has enjoyed a fulfilling career in the hearing healthcare industry for more than 25 years. Her passion began during her studies at Northern Michigan University, where she developed an interest in speech and hearing disorders and later earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders in 1994. 

She joined Here 4 You Hearing Center in May 2018 and completed her licensure as a Hearing Instrument Specialist in 2024. Lisa has extensive experience working with hearing aids, and her favorite part of the job is helping people reconnect with the world through better hearing. 

Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, hiking, nature, crafting, family time, and the companionship of her handsome rescue cat, Kibby.

Cynthia Keyes – Office Coordinator & Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee

Cynthia—also known as Cindy—is a Jackson, Michigan native with over 17 years of experience in hearing healthcare and a lifelong focus on exceptional customer service. She joined the Here 4 You Hearing Center family in 2024 and takes great pride in being part of the Brown’s Advance Care Team. 

She is passionate about helping people rediscover the sounds they’ve been missing and enjoys serving as an advocate and support system for patients throughout their better-hearing journey. 

Cynthia holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Spring Arbor University and is licensed as a Hearing Aid Salesperson Trainee through the State of Michigan. She plans to become fully licensed by Fall 2025. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, nature, crafting, learning new things, and spending time with her husband, family, and four rescue dogs.

What is the warranty on hearing aids?

All hearing aids purchased here include a 3-year manufacturer’s service warranty.

How often should I come in after getting hearing aids?

We follow up every two weeks during your 60-day trial and recommend returning every 3–6 months for maintenance and annually for testing.

Do hearing aids help with tinnitus (ringing in the ears)?

Yes—most people experience relief with properly fit hearing aids.

How long do hearing aids last?

Typically 3–5 years, depending on use and care.

Will insurance cover hearing aids?

Coverage varies by policy. We verify your benefits when scheduling your hearing test and consultation.

Can I try hearing aids before purchasing?

Yes—our in-office demonstrations allow you to experience the benefits before making a decision.

Do I need to clean my ears before coming in?

A small amount of wax is normal. We check your ears before testing. If a significant blockage is found, we may recommend cleaning before proceeding.

Are hearing aids Bluetooth and rechargeable?

Most devices offer both features. Compatibility depends on your phone's make and model.

Do hearing aids only go behind the ear?

No—while behind-the-ear styles are popular and discreet, other styles are available depending on your needs.
